Propane Manager Position

Job Description:
The propane manager will be responsible for the safe and efficient daily operation of the propane transportation department.

Main Responsibilities:
Determine proper route staffing requirements
Hire & train new propane drivers
Establish & maintain controls that insure safe & efficient operation
Facilitate the preparation and analysis of reports on key performance data i.e. cost per gallon delivered, driver payroll, overtime,  other reports as necessary.

The Propane Manager will have knowledge of:
Propane bobtail Operation, customer routing, driver scheduling, tank set process & procedure, propane codes, bulk plant operation, customer service, DOT regulations, HazMat regulations.

Requirements:
3-5 years’ experience in a propane dispatch operation
Class B CDL w/ HazMat endorsement
Competent in MS Word & Excel.
Knowledge of propane truck routing software
CETP in Basic Principal’s & Practices of Propane, Bobtail Operation, Service.
